We rent places where we have lived. They are investment properties and more. We lived there and raised our children there. They are places we care about. In addition, they are surrounded by people we know.
We are committed to keeping our properties in the same condition as when we lived there, only better. When we make changes or repairs, we bump up the quality of the change one or two notches above were it was. We want to improve the value of the house whenever possible. As a result, we are committed to improving the quality of life for our tenants.
We strive to treat our tenants as we want to be treated. When a tenant renews a lease, we only raise the rent enough to cover the increase in our operating costs. Put another way, our tenants experience the same increase in costs as they would if they owned the property. That seems fair.
